Jean Dubuffet was a french painter and sculptor that lived from 31st of July, 1901 to 12th of May 1985. He died from emphysema while in Paris. Before that he was born to wine merchants who were part of the wealthy bourgeoisie and he studied painting at the Academia Julian. He developed many other interests but then took up painting again in 1934 and made a large series of portraits but yet again stopped and developed his wine business. Jean Dubuffet has had a pretty big impact on the art world of today with both his 3d and 2d artwork. In my opinion his 3d is better because its way bigger and some you can actually walk through its like life size art. Some of the similarities are that they both are abstract and have somewhat the same concept.

About meI am a sophomore at Harris-Lake Park and I'm not currently in any sports although I do like to go to games and support our sports teams. One of my favorite things to do is to be with friends and drive around or go get food and just talk. ArchivesCategories |
